Best Free Singapore Calculators 2026: CPF Take-Home Pay, Stamp Duty, Income Tax and GST

Every rate dated • All calculators free • No signup required

TL;DR

Singapore money questions almost always come down to a published government rate applied to your own numbers: CPF by age band, stamp duty by band and residency, income tax by bracket, GST at 9 percent. These ten calculators apply those rates and show the working. Each one states the date its rates took effect, because CPF changes annually, stamp duty changes by announcement, and the electricity tariff changes every quarter. All are free with no signup.

How to Choose

Frequently Asked Questions

How much CPF is deducted from my salary in Singapore?

For employees aged 55 and below, the employee share is 20 percent of Ordinary Wages and the employer adds 17 percent, giving a 37 percent total. The employee share steps down with age: 18 percent above 55 to 60, 12.5 percent above 60 to 65, 7.5 percent above 65 to 70, and 5 percent above 70. Contributions apply only to Ordinary Wages up to 8,000 dollars a month, so a higher salary does not increase the monthly CPF deduction beyond that ceiling. These are the rates effective 1 January 2026.

What is the Ordinary Wage ceiling and why does it matter?

The Ordinary Wage ceiling caps the monthly salary that attracts CPF contributions at 8,000 dollars. Someone earning 10,000 dollars a month pays the same monthly employee CPF as someone earning 8,000 dollars, because the slice above the ceiling is not subject to contributions. It matters most when comparing offers, since take-home pay rises faster than gross pay once you are above the ceiling.

Why is Additional Buyer Stamp Duty so much larger than Buyer Stamp Duty?

Buyer Stamp Duty is a banded charge that works out to a low single-digit percentage for most homes. Additional Buyer Stamp Duty is a flat percentage applied to the entire purchase price, and the rates are deliberately high for second properties and for foreign buyers. A foreign buyer pays 60 percent of the whole price in ABSD, which on most transactions dwarfs the BSD entirely. This is why the two are always calculated together.

Does the date I bought my property change the Seller Stamp Duty I pay?

Yes, and this is the single most common error in the calculation. Properties purchased on or after 4 July 2025 fall on a four-year table starting at 16 percent, while properties purchased between 11 March 2017 and 3 July 2025 fall on a three-year table starting at 12 percent. Using the wrong table can produce a figure that is wrong by tens of thousands of dollars, which is why the purchase date is a required input rather than an optional one.

Is AWS, the 13th month bonus, required by law in Singapore?

No. The Ministry of Manpower is explicit that AWS is a variable payment made according to the terms of the employment contract and is not required by law. Because there is no statutory entitlement, there is also no official formula for prorating it when someone joins or leaves partway through the year. Employers use either a daily method or a completed-months method, and the two give different answers, so the AWS calculator shows both rather than presenting one as correct.

Do I pay CPF on salary in lieu of notice?

No. CPF contributions are not payable on salary paid in lieu of notice. This catches people out because it is treated differently from ordinary salary, and assuming CPF applies will understate the final payment. The notice period calculator applies the MOM gross rate of pay per day and leaves the amount free of CPF.

Why can these calculators not tell me my CPF LIFE monthly payout?

CPF Board does not publish a payout formula for arbitrary balances, only figures at a few published anchor points. Any calculator that outputs a precise monthly payout for a custom balance is interpolating between those anchors and presenting an estimate as a fact. Rather than do that, these pages show your standing against the Basic, Full and Enhanced Retirement Sums and point you to the official CPF LIFE Estimator for a payout figure.

How often do Singapore utility rates change?

The SP Group electricity tariff is revised every quarter, so a figure that was right three months ago may not be right today. The calculator shows which quarter its rate belongs to next to the result rather than presenting it as permanently current. PUB water rates change far less often and are currently those effective 1 April 2025, charged on a tiered basis where only usage above 40 cubic metres a month attracts the higher rate.
